Rohan Vaidya
I'm a recent grad from the University of California at Berkeley where I studied Computer Science and Entrepreneurship. I'm currently working on CommonAR: a spatial networking event platform that shows attendees who to talk to and what to say at events. Email rohan@commonar.com to try us out! I am based in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. Let's grab coffee!
In the past, I was a failed amateur comic for Standup at Cal, washed up tennis player for Cal Club Tennis, and developer for Blockchain at Berkeley. I also conducted research on Sky Pilot in UC Berkeley's Sky Lab under Professor Ion Stoica and interned twice for Rivian on the Data Platform team building anomaly detection software.
I am deeply motivated by those who overcame great adversity in the past and their ability to guide us through uncharted waters of the present. A few favorites: Marcus Aurelius, J. Robert Oppenheimer, and Srinivasa Ramanujan. I am also deeply motivated by the Renaissance, namely Michelangelo, and would like to one day contribute to work that sparks a rebirth in one way or another.
